FORMER WWE star Killswitch has been taken to hospital due to health problems.

The wrestler collapsed in his home and was found by his fiancée.

He was taken to hospital, where tests showed his blood oxygen level was below 80 percent and he had pneumonia in both lungs.

AEW star Killswitch, also known as Luchosaurus, has been on oxygen ever since and was reportedly just days away from suffering permanent lung damage.

His recovery is expected to take at least a month, and it is unclear when he will be able to return to the ring.

British YouTuber and wrestler Simon Miller wished him well, saying: “Man, happy birthday to Luchasaurus.

“Always such a good guy (dinosaur) when I meet him. I am sending him positive thoughts and a speedy recovery.”

While former AEW teammate Marko Stunt wrote: “Whatever
@luchasaurus has something on his mind right now, I don’t know.

“But I will never forget the moments when he stuck his head out for me, both in and out of the ring. He really cared about me and protected me.”

Killswitch, or rather Austin Matelson, played in only eight games this year.

His last fight was in August in London, with his remaining fights taking place in July, June and May.

Killswitch also took a break wrestling take part Big Brother in 2015.
