The overturned truck caused traffic disruptions on the westbound Long Island Expressway near Sunnyside Boulevard in Plainview, according to the 511 NY website.

Nassau County police said the incident resulted in one minor injury, but added that the person was treated at the scene.

The state website reported the incident occurred at 11:03 a.m. and said the three left lanes and the shoulder were closed.

Traffic camera footage shows heavy-duty tow trucks righting the truck at 12:50 p.m., with traffic moving slowly through the area. The traffic jam extended east to Round Swamp Road.

Police said all lanes would reopen as soon as the truck was removed from the road.
