According to the report, Govinda was admitted to the hospital at 5:15 am and according to hospital sources, his condition is currently stable and he is out of danger. Authorities have seized the revolver and an investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances of the mishap.

Early today, the actor and Govinda were rushed to CRITICare Hospital in Mumbai after accidentally shooting themselves in the leg. The incident took place around 4.45 am when Govinda was checking his licensed revolver before leaving for Kolkata. Reports indicate that the gun misfired and the bullet hit him in the knee, requiring immediate medical attention.

Govinda was admitted to the hospital at 5.15 am and according to hospital sources, his condition is currently stable and out of danger. Authorities have seized the revolver and an investigation is ongoing to determine the circumstances of the mishap.

Shashi Sinha, Govinda’s manager, explained to ANI that the actor was placing the revolver in its case when it slipped from his hand, causing an accidental shot. The bullet was successfully removed by doctors and Govinda is currently recovering in hospital.

For the uninitiated, Govinda has been one of the most beloved superstars in the Hindi film industry for years, where he is best remembered for his comic timing and dancing skills. His films with director David Dhawan have left a legacy.

For the past few years, Govinda has been struggling to make films and the films he made turned out to be box office bombs.

After 2007, Govinda is finding it difficult to deliver another box office hit. After Partner, he appeared in 13 films, but none of them, including low-budget projects such as Rangeela Raja, were commercially successful.
