One person injured in 5 Freeway Collision near 15 Freeway in San Diego

San Diego, CA. – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a traffic collision on Sunday evening in San Diego.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on the northbound 5 Freeway near 15 Freeway at around 6:21 pm

A black Honda Accord and a second vehicle were involved in the collision. The events preceding the collision, however, were not immediately determined.

At least one person suffered serious injuries in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
